I got an email from Andy. Some of his comments about this episode were:
One of my big questions was answered last week and another HUGE one was created (how did Kate end up free and why is Aaron off the island when Claire isn't?)
I am puzzled about who could be the remaining Oceanic 6. We know that Jack, Kate, Hurley, and Sayid are the first four. They can't be counting Aaron...can they? I think we're gonna find out Sawyer got off...but that leaves one more. I suppose they could make it be Jin and Sun and leave Sawyer on the island.
Yes, is was nice to have the question about Kate's freedom answered. Aside from that, I can't say that I was much interested in the flashforwards until we learned about Aaron (I must say that I guessed that it was Aaron about 5 seconds before she said his name). Does that mean that Claire dies? And why does Jack not want to see him? Does he feel guilty about Claire's death?
The big question now is the identity of the last two. I am not sure they are counting Aaron, but I don't think we can exclude him. So there are one or two left. If it is one, It may be Sawyer. If two, I am hoping for Sun and Jin. I think Desmond may be getting off the island as well, but since he was not on Oceanic 815, he wouldn't be one of the "6".
We also know now that Ben eventually gets away from Locke, so we may be seeing him pulling of some coup soon.
In the flashback the previous week, Miles was using his ghost whisperer skills to get money hidden by a dead man. Now in this episode, he is extorting Ben for 3.2 million dollars. I wonder what he needs the money for?

Oh, one other thought. If Aaron is not being raised by Claire, does that mean that he will become evil?
Okay, Roy - you have to remind me why Aaron will become evil.
I didn't catch what Kate's son's name is and was going to ask. Just cuz his name is Aaron doesn't mean he's Claire's son, does it?
Given Kate's extremely disappointed reaction to Sawyer's relief that Kate wasn't pregnant, I have to believe she was indeed pregnant.
I was confused by Jack's testimony. Obviously the lies about how she took care of everyone and that he doesn't love her anymore was perjury intended to help her. But why lie about how many survived the crash. He said 8 survived.
What did Miles mean when he said to Ben, "I know who you are and what you can do."
Can't wait to get your reactions to the 2/28 episode. I really enjoyed it.
Well, I don't remember specifically that Aaron would turn out evil, but the psychic that Claire visited said that if the baby was raised by anyone else but her, then something terrible would happen, and that the baby needed the her influence as it was raised.
I am pretty sure that Kate's "son" is Claire's son, Aaron. Otherwise there would be nothing special in how they ended the episode, having Kate call him Aaron. Besides, earlier in the episode, Claire offers to let Kate hold Aaron, but Kate declines. I think the scene was meant to show Kate's changing attitude toward Aaron.
Jack's lie about the survivors of the crash is in keeping with the cover story about the rescue. We don't know what that is yet, but there have been hints in the flash-forwards that there is a cover-up, and the Oceanic 6 are going along with it. The guy (Abadden) who visited Hurley at the mental institute, and asked him if "they are still alive". And Jack and Hurleys conversation, where Jack wants to make sure that Hurley will not tell the true story...
About Miles, I don't know. Ben does seem to have some resources.
